Human Resources Manager, Normandy, France
CLIENT : Our client is a world leading automotive supplier that enhances vehicle performance, efficiency, and appearance through state-of-the-art technologies, world-class brands, and global solutions to its customers' needs around the world. Its automotive systems portfolio includes Turbo Technologies, thermal systems, Consumer Products and Friction Materials. Our client supplies its products to OE automotive and truck manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, and through the retail aftermarket.
We are looking for its 400 employee manufacturing site in Normandy a
ROLE: Human Resources Manager
As a Human Resources Manager, you will:
•Lead HR strategy and execution for the supply chain and operations teams.
•Directly support the leadership team.
•Focus on areas such as operations talent upgrade, change leadership, labor relations and the development and implementation of integration and globalization activities.
•Partner with clients and regional HR Leaders to ensure employees are engaged in plan for growth and business objectives are achieved.
•Provides a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives
•Facilitate solutions to employee and leadership issues
The HR manager will partner with site leadership to drive and support organizational change initiatives
You will be responsible of 1 HR generalist and 2 HR administrators.
Specific responsibilities will include:
•Overall accountability for all HR activities and driving HR processes
•Strengthen relationship with Unions, Work Council and Employees Representatives
•Provide a wide range of HR generalist support including: staffing, compensation, benefits, organization development…
•Recruit, select & retain leadership talent. Provide coaching to executives & managers.
•Partner with HR team to develop & implement changes necessary to build the organization effectiveness and capability
•Provide guidance/direction on company policies and practices
•Champion an environment that encourages learning and employee development
•Support HR team members career development
•Lead all employees related regulatory and compliance activities
•Provide all necessary management information to fulfill needs of leadership
•Participate and drive HR projects across the country
•Maintain up to date knowledge of Employment legislation and inform local business management and EMEA HR group as and when appropriate
PERSON SPEC - higher weighting more important
10 - 7-10 years experience in Human Resources – preferably some of which are in a manufacturing environment
10 - At least 3 years experience in Human Resources Manager role or equivalent experiences
10 - Strong leadership/interpersonal skills and customer focus
10 - Strong technical skills in local employment law and labor relations strategy
10 - Ability to handle multiple/high priority tasks simultaneously
10 - Ability to stay focused on initiatives by effectively managing priorities
10 - Fluency in French and English.
9 - Must maintain flexibility in the organization
9- Drive for results, convey a sense of urgency and drive issues to closure
9 - Change management skills
9 - Must have ability to work in a matrix environment
9 - University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
SALARY: depending on experience : base + bonus + Package |
